Cyndi Stevenson, a dedicated community leader, was elected at large in 2004 to serve St Johns County as Commissioner from District One. She has lived in Northeast Florida for nearly 30 years. Cyndi and Henry, her husband of 25 years, live in Julington Creek, Northwest St Johns County. Their sons, Paul and Wes, attended Nease High School and are now at the University of Florida.

Cyndi is a graduate of Stetson University and a Certifed Public Accountant. She worked as a CPA and auditor for Peat Marwick in Jacksonville and as Controller for The Childrens Home Society. Cyndi is a Rotarian and has been a Cub Scout Leader, PTO Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Mentor and Adult Literacy Tutor.

As your Commissioner, Cyndi has put her experience as a CPA, businesswoman and volunteer to work for you. She is committed to working with all residents to find solutions necessary to meet our challenges. "Our decisions will determine the legacy we leave to our children."
